Article AL13R
Stepped flag poles
Stepped flag poles are structures designed for the display and raising of flags, commonly used in various settings such as government buildings, schools, institutions, parks, and other public spaces. Characterized by a tapered shape that narrows towards the top, these poles provide structural stability and a pleasing aesthetic.
Made from S235JR steel (compliant with UNI EN 10219 standards), stepped flag poles can vary in height and diameter to meet the specific needs of the project. They are anchored to the ground using a concrete foundation, ensuring safety and durability.
Protected by hot-dip galvanization to withstand atmospheric agents, the poles can be painted upon request. They are equipped with accessories such as steel supports for pulleys, nylon pulleys, polyester ropes of appropriate length, clamps for securing the flags, and a PVC cap at the top.
In addition to their practical function, stepped flag poles play a significant role in urban design, representing the identity and pride of a place or organization.

STEPPED FLAGPOLE, model AL13R
The buried stepped flagpole, model AL13R, produced by NCM, is constructed by joining induction-welded tubes of different diameters that have been properly machined at the ends. These sections are assembled using an automatic circumferential welding process.
The pole includes the following standard features:
. Hot-dip galvanization by immersion in molten zinc, in accordance with UNI EN ISO 1461.
. Steel pulley supports, welded at the top and 1 meter from the ground, allowing the operation of the flag-raising/lowering system.
. A pair of nylon pulleys mounted on the shaped supports.
. Polyester rope of appropriate length.
. Flag fixing clamps.
. PVC cap at the top.
Materials:
The poles are made of S235 JR steel with characteristics conforming to UNI EN 10219.
The dimensional tolerances comply with the UNI EN 1090 standard.

CE Marking:
The poles are CE marked by applying an adhesive label (n° 1608 CPD P028).
The pole is produced by a company certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and authorized to issue CE marking, in accordance with the current legislation (EU Regulation No. 305/2011). The label, which confirms compliance with CE standards and is affixed to each pole, must include: reference standard UNI EN 1090-1, manufacturer’s signature, year of manufacture, product code, and the CE marking authorization certificate number.
Any additional painting, after galvanization, with colors chosen by the project supervisor, is achieved through a thermosetting powder coating process. Each pole will be protected with bubble wrap.
