Octagonal poles for MV-LV electrical lines
The MV-LV poles, with an octagonal shape, are commonly used in the construction of electrical lines to support cables and other components of the energy distribution system. These poles are designed to provide stability and resistance to weather conditions while supporting the weight of the cables and associated equipment.

Shape: They have a conical octagonal shape (8 sides) and consist of one or more sections, which are joined using the slip-on joint method.
Material: They are made of S355JR steel sheet (in accordance with UNI EN 10025 standards).
Height: The length of the pole depends on the application and the requirements of the area. They can vary from 9 m to 12 m.
Ground Fixing: The base of the pole, equipped with a bituminous protective band, is designed to be securely anchored to the ground. This can be achieved through a foundation system, such as a concrete base, to ensure the stability of the structure.
Finish: The MV-LV poles are supplied with a protective coating consisting of hot-dip galvanization according to UNI EN ISO 1461 standards.
They are complete with processing as per Enel Italia Technical Specification code: MAT-E&C-NC-2022-0098-GIN. Version no. 0 dated 21/04/2022.
