Polygonal Poles for MV-LV Power Lines

The MV-LV poles, with a polygonal shape, are commonly used in the construction of power lines to support cables and other components of the energy distribution system. These poles are designed to provide stability and weather resistance, as well as to support the weight of the cables and associated equipment.

NCM solutions for energy transport aim to reduce environmental impact through recycling of the product at the end of its life cycle.

Shape: They have a polygonal truncated-conical shape (16 sides) and consist of one or more sections, which are joined using the slip-on joint method.

Material: They are made from S355JR steel sheet (compliant with UNI EN 10025 standards).

Height: The length of the pole depends on the application and the requirements of the area. They can vary from 12 m to 27 m.

Ground Fixing: The base of the pole, equipped with a bituminous protective band, is designed to be securely fixed to the ground. This can be achieved through a foundation system, such as a concrete base, to ensure the stability of the structure.

Finish: The MV-LV poles are provided with a protective coating made of hot-dip galvanization according to UNI EN ISO 1461 standards.

They are complete with the processing as per the Enel Italy Technical Specification code: MAT-E&C-NC-2022-0098-GIN. Version no. 0 dated 21/04/2022.
