TLC High Masts
The development of communications has necessitated the use of antenna support structures capable of transmitting signals even in the most remote areas. For this purpose, NCM offers an economical and safe product that meets a wide range of needs.
This solution allows for reduced installation times and environmental impact, with costs significantly lower than traditional lattice structures.
The types of TLC high masts can include the following:
- Monotubular towers, equipped with ladders and cable support brackets, used for the installation of antennas along the shaft.
- Monotubular towers equipped with ladders, cable support brackets, and a maintenance platform located at the top, fitted with all the necessary equipment for antenna installation.
- Monotubular towers fitted at the top with a mobile crown for supporting lighting projectors and a flagpole for mounting antennas.
They are conical in shape with a polygonal cross-section and are made using steel S355JR (in accordance with UNI EN 10025) through press bending and subsequent longitudinal welding of trapezoidal steel sheets. They consist of multiple sections, the number of which varies based on the height of the pole, joined using the slip-on joint method.
The TLC high masts can be installed directly in the ground via a concrete foundation plinth or, if equipped with a base plate, fixed to the plinth using foundation ties.
Welds are performed using a procedure certified by the Italian Welding Institute, with the assistance of qualified personnel and tested in accordance with UNI EN 3834-2.
The structures are CE marked and manufactured in accordance with UNI EN 1090 standards with execution class EXC 2.
The TLC high masts are hot-dip galvanized to withstand atmospheric agents, in compliance with UNI EN ISO 1461.
Upon customer request, powder coating is available in accordance with UNI EN ISO 12944.
