Motorized Mobile Crown Towers MEGAFAR

These represent the top of the range in technology and safety. They are primarily used for lighting large areas, ports, and airports.

Shape and Dimensions: They feature a conical shape with a polygonal cross-section and are made from S355JR steel sheet (in accordance with UNI EN10025 standards) using press braking and subsequent longitudinal welding of trapezoidal-shaped sheets. They consist of multiple sections joined together using the slip-on joint method.

Material: The towers are constructed from S355JR steel (in compliance with UNI EN 10025 standards).

Height: The length of the pole depends on the application and the lighting requirements of the area. They can vary in height and diameter to meet the specific needs of the project. The standard version ranges from 16 to 30 meters above ground.

Ground Fixing: They can be directly embedded in a concrete foundation base or fixed to the base using anchors embedded in the concrete, provided they are equipped with a base plate welded to the lower trunk of the pole.

Safety and Functionality: They are equipped with a motorized mobile crown system that allows maintenance to be carried out safely.

The traction cable is made of high-strength galvanized steel or AISI 316 stainless steel for particularly corrosive environments; it is sized according to the total weight to be lifted and has a safety factor equal to or greater than 5 in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Additionally, the system is equipped with the exclusive NCM parachute brake, which activates in case of cable slack.

A fiberglass dome is mounted on top of the tower to protect the mechanical and electrical components.

Finish: The towers come with a protective coating consisting of hot-dip galvanization, which can withstand weather conditions. A powder coating is available upon request, enhancing durability and visual appearance.

Compatibility with Lighting: The towers are designed to accommodate various types of lighting devices, including projectors and other accessories. Some poles can integrate accessories such as photocells for automatic lighting control or mounts for security cameras.

Urban Design: The polygonal structure and variety of platforms offer greater design flexibility, allowing the poles to be more easily integrated into the surrounding environment, in line with specific public lighting or large area needs.
